| | Edward Maguire (Miltown) became a student at Queen’s Collage, Galway. He graduated with a B.A. degree in 1854 and became a doctor in 1882. He worked as a dispensary medical doctor in Cong, Ballinrobe and Claremorris. His son Conor Maguire also became a doctor, he too worked in Claremorris. Conor’s Sons – Gerard is a Solicitor (1958) George is a Medical Officer in Claremorris (1958) Conor is Chief Justice (highest legal office in Ireland) and was twice elected T.D. for National University Ireland. |
