| February | Fr Brady in 1869, wrote to the Anglo Celt and Ballinagh Court. He said that approx. 1859 when he was C.C. the then P.P. Fr McHugh held a court every month in his house. Fr McHugh would settle every dispute that arose between parishioners. For those that did not abide by Fr McHugh’s decision appealed to the legal authorities. |
