AprilOn Sunday 19th April a meeting was held in the Gaelic Hall (Miltown, Derrylin) for the purpose of starting a corps of the Irish National Volunteers
May83 Catholic children took the Sacrament of Confirmation in Knockninny parish. Clergy present were Bishop Dr. Finegan, Fr. Michael Young C.C. Teacher Miss Mary McCullagh   
JuneMiss Margaret Maguire (former vice-president) and Mr Thomas Curry (vice-president 1914) both from Derrylin were thanked for their contribution to keeping the Irish spirit alive through their work for the Fermanagh Ladies of Boston society.  
The Derrylin Corps of Irish National Volunteers had their first drill under Mr O’Reilly, McPartland and Small. 100 men marched to and from Derrylin Cross.
Seanchaí Seamus McManus opened a new Irish – Ireland Store. Books and other articles were available by post.

SeptemberAn assistant editor of one of the leading papers in Philadelphia from Derrylin returned home for a holiday.
October 
NovemberA concert and dance in aid of Teemore Junior Shamrocks was held at Gortaree on 22nd November.
DecemberThe “Clarkes of Teemore” were reported to be the greatest and best-known family of Gaelic footballers in Ulster.
