| January | The County Council is to purchase cots to carry people, animals and goods between Lisnaskea and Derrylin. Mrs Martin, Corradover died as she was about to read a letter from her soldier son training in the North of Ireland. Another son of hers at the time was reported missing on the Western front. |
| February | On 10th February the Gaelic League held a dance in Derrylin A.O.H hall. |
| March | Dr. John Dillon addressed people at a Sinn Fein public meeting. Prayers were offered up in Derrylin and Teemore churches for John Redmond (leader of the Irish Parliamentary party) who died recently. |
