| September | Police and Military carried out raids in Derrylin and Kinawley looking for arms. Nothing was found. |

| November | Ball was held on 14th November in aid of Gortineddan A.O.H Band in Derrylin hall. Miss Rose Goodwin originally from Teemore died in London. She was brought back to Ireland and buried in Teemore. |
