| February | John Maguire “The Ford” died. He was buried in Teemore. Fr John McCabe left Shercock to come to Derrylin. Fr T. Small was moved from Derrylin to Teemore. On 21st Feb Teemore Hall was burned, lorries were heard that night in the vicinity. The Roof fell in, only walls were left standing. |

| August | Shots were fired from an R.I.C. Lorry over the heads of the congregation coming from Mass. Intimidation from B Specials reported in Derrylin area. Local story told about the night the water pump was sunken Derrylin. Ghost/Strange story. |
| September | A ceili was held in Garvary School on 25th to raise funds for Teemore Gaelic Class. |
